Yes, you can extend the run length of your sensors, but each sensor has its own maximum, so please contact the AKCP Support Team about your specific sensor. Also remember that the length you can extend up to can be affected by electromagnetic interference from other appliances. If for example the extended UTP cable is running through a false ceiling next to fluorescent tube lights it can have an adverse effect on the range you can extend up to.

I must extend a WS15 sensor up to 60 feet.
I have added a 45 feet cable, but the SP x8-20 does not correctly recognize the sensor now.
How should i solve it?

Thanks for your question. You should be able to extend the WS15 up to 100 feet. Are you using an RJ-45 coupler to extend the cable? If so, this could be the problem as these couplers tend to have connection problems, so we don’t recommend using them.
If you are not using the coupler, is the extension cable straight through and not crossed over?
