Hello AKCP,
Can you please assist on the following questions?
Can I use any type of external modem connected to my PC to send SMS & phone calls using the APS software?
Is there a limit to the number of SMS phone numbers in the latest APS when using the AKCP external modem?
Can the APS send voice calls to my mobile phone?
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
Please see below for the answers to your questions.
We only support our AKCP external modem for use with the APS software.
For the voice call: we can confirm this works also on APS v16, but it requires a good quality USB cable. Use the one supplied with the modem, then it will work.
For the SMS: we tested how many numbers can be added, and if they are received successfully.
The WebUI has 500 character limit, this translates to about 40-41 phone numbers for a single action (without country code prefix).
The numbers should be separated by a comma character as follows: 01203102312,01203102312,01203102312,01203102312,01203102312,01203102312,01203102312,01203102312,01203102312,01203102312,01203102312,01203102312,01203102312,01203102312,01203102312
We can confirm this will actually work, see the screenshots below.
The used driver package was the SIM7000&SIM7100&SIM7500&SIM7600DriverInstall_V1.01.zip (this runs a Windows setup program to install the driver files).
Then the modem’s AT port was used for both SMS and phone call actions, as in the manual (AKCP AKCPro Server External Modem Setup Manual.pdf).
Note: when configuring the action, make sure to remove the IP address macro from the SMS message contents to avoid being blocked by the service provider.
