AKCP 1 Megawatt Test Data Center – Backup Generator
Today we relocated the 250kW generator from its old location to the service area of the test data center.
Our previous test facility was powered exclusively by the generator power when we needed to run a test. As the new facility will be capable of 1 Megawatt, we required an upgraded main line power. The main line provides 750kW of power, and when we need to run a larger test the generator will provide the additional 250kW as required.
In this video we document the relocation of the generator and take a closer look at the 3D design of the test data center and what will be showcased.

For over two decades at AKCP, I have been focused on a single mission: bringing complete visibility, security, and efficiency to the world’s critical infrastructure.
I believe that in the modern data center, AI is only as good as the data it receives. My goal is to ensure facilities have the precise sensor facts needed to control AI opinions, ultimately reducing PUE, releasing stranded capacity, and ensuring maximum uptime.
