UCLA Data Center Monitoring – AKCP Remote Monitoring
The SP2 devices have been deployed at the UCLA Department of Mathematics Data Center.
Dual Temperature and Humidity Sensors are used to monitor the hot and cold aisles at the front and rear of the cabinets. The system will alert should server exhaust temperatures rise to critical levels, and in addition monitor that there is sufficiently cold air entering the cabinet. Humidity levels are monitored as well, with alerts being generated when levels are at levels to cause concern.
