AKCP Unveils Quicklime DCIM Digital Twin Software Featuring AI Driven sensorCFD™ Technology at OCP EMEA Summit
BARCELONA, Spain – April 29, 2026
AKCP, the world’s oldest and largest manufacturer of networked environmental, power, and security monitoring solutions, announces the launch of Quicklime sensorCFD™ AI.
Designed to transform how operators manage data center performance, thermal efficiency, and capacity. The feature is being showcased alongside AKCP’s Capacity AI, Video AI and Configuration AI and Asset AI technologies at the Open Compute Project (OCP) EMEA Summit in Barcelona, April 29th to 30th.
sensorCFD – Bridging the Gap Between Real-Time Data and Fluid Dynamics
Quicklime utilizes real-world conditions as the input for its CFD calculations. This seamless integration produces near real-time CFD models of the data center. This aids in identifying:
- Hot Spots: Danger areas prone to servers overheating.
- Cold Spots: Zones suffering from overcooling, representing wasted energy and stranded capacity.
Integrated AI: From Analysis to Action
Quicklime features a locally-hosted Large Language Model (LLM). This on premise AI analyzes the sensorCFD™ output to generate contextual, actionable reports.
Instead of merely alerting operators to where a problem is occurring, the AI analysis identifies the underlying cause and prescribes steps to rectify. In addition the report includes suggested changes to setpoints, fan speeds and energy saving strategies.
Unlocking Data Center Efficiency
By automating complex thermal analysis and root-cause diagnostics, Quicklime reduces operational management overhead. Facility managers and IT operators can shift their focus from analyzing graphs and hunting for problems to review and implementation of AI recommended solutions.
The deployment of Quicklime DCIM and Digital Twin software delivers tangible benefits to Data Center facilities, including:
- Improved Efficiency and PUE: Pinpoint and eliminate overcooling to lower PUE.
- Reduced Downtime: Proactively address thermal events anomalies before they cause downtime.
- Release of Stranded Capacity: Safely reclaim wasted power and cooling resources to deploy new IT loads without expanding the physical footprint.
Visit AKCP at the OCP EMEA Summit
Attendees of the OCP EMEA Summit in Barcelona (April 29-30) are invited to visit the AKCP booth for a live demonstration of Quicklime DCIM, sensorCFD™, and the integrated AI analytics engine.
AKCP established the market for networked temperature, environmental, and power monitoring in the data center. Today, AKCP is the world’s oldest and largest manufacturer of networked environmental, power, and security monitoring solutions, with over 250,000 installations worldwide.

For over two decades at AKCP, I have been focused on a single mission: bringing complete visibility, security, and efficiency to the world’s critical infrastructure.
I believe that in the modern data center, AI is only as good as the data it receives. My goal is to ensure facilities have the precise sensor facts needed to control AI opinions, ultimately reducing PUE, releasing stranded capacity, and ensuring maximum uptime.
