Make sure temperature is within acceptable bounds with customized thresholds. In a data center, check your server inlet temperatures, in the workplace, ensure OSHA compliance.
Static air pressure measurements in a data center can be used to control fan speeds and ensure correct air supply volumes. Balancing pressures reduces stress to servers, reduces maintenance costs, and fan energy. By subtracting measurements of two static air pressure sensors, a differential pressure is calculated. Use this to check pressure differences before and after transition points. Large pressure differences can signal issues such as blocked air filters.
The air pollution index tracks multiple pollutants, including CO2, NOx, and VOCs, and produces an air quality score. Monitor this over time and ensure the air quality score is stable or decreasing, as an increasing score signifies decreasing air quality.
