AKCP, the world’s oldest and largest supplier of networked wired and wireless sensor solutions, announces an upgrade to the sensorProbe series.
The sensorProbe has been an AKCP staple product for more than 10 years. It has been the world’s best-selling environmental monitoring system for the data center with thousands of installations worldwide. To keep up with industry trends, AKCP has announced an upgrade to the sensorProbe devices. The sensorProbe+ series which includes the SP2+ and SPX+ base units feature secure and encrypted e-mail, SNMPV3, IPV6, a modern HTML5 user interface, virtual sensors, VPN, and an internal scripting language interpreter for exotic notifications or virtual sensors.
As a replacement for the SP2, the device is available in 2 port (SP2V2) and 4 port (SP2+) versions. The device hardware always features 4 ports, but it can be purchased with either 2 or 4 ports unlocked. It also opens the possibility to upgrade the units in-field to 4 ports via a one-time license code.
The sensorProbeX+ has had a price reduction to ease the transition from the sensorProbe to sensorProbe+ devices. AKCP also has attractive prices for SP2+ and SPX+ bundled with PoE and sensors.
AKCP established in the USA in 1981, has 30+ years experience in professional sensor solutions. AKCP created the market for networked temperature, environmental and power monitoring in the data center. Today with over 150 employees and 200,000 installations, AKCP is the world’s oldest and largest manufacturer of networked wired and wireless sensor solutions.
