AKCP in collaboration with their dealer DCL will be attending Data Center World – Hong Kong. Held between 22-23rd May 2019, AKCP will announce a family of LoRa™ products designed specifically for the data center.

AKCP bring to market the world’s first LoRa™ based monitoring system designed with specific features applicable to the monitoring needs of the data center.

The AKCP solution is an end to end private or public LoRa™ network, allowing the user to be in total control. No cloud services or third-party gateways. AKCP’s world-class DCIM platform, AKCPro Server, which includes an extensive suite of monitoring and management tools, is embedded on the gateway. Your data is safe, secure and under your control. All wireless data packets are 128 bit AES encrypted. The system is versatile, allowing the end user to choose a wireless only implementation or a hybrid system which includes AKCP’s wired sensors with wireless sensors deployed in locations where cabling is not feasible. This end to end solution means that you can get everything from one vendor. LoRa™ sensors, gateways and software that includes an extensive suite of monitoring and management tools.

AKCPro Server, embedded on the gateway has a rich feature set that includes drill-down mapping, notification wizards, asset management, data logging graphing and reporting. All sensor data is SNMP addressable allowing for integration with existing NMS, BMS or DCIM software.

At Data Center World – Hong Kong, AKCP will showcase their LoRa™ solution for data center environmental and security monitoring, including integration with third-party equipment such as PDU, UPS and ONVIF IP cameras. Sensor data is logged, displayed in AKCPro Server, and synchronised with video from sensor events.
