The latest update adds 3D and 2D visualization of the assets in your rack. When viewing a rack map, or the 3D data center model, users can see which racks have vacant space for additional equipment to be installed, as well as the type of equipment already present.

Users can select from a default image of the asset or upload their own images to be used as the representation of the equipment mounted in the rack.

Combining AKCPro Server asset visualization and management functions with AKCP sensor monitoring, you can create a digital twin of your racks and data center environment. Contactless Current Meters for example are a non-invasive way of monitoring current loads to a rack. This is useful when identifying vacant rack space to check if there is sufficient power overhead to add new equipment. Cabinet Thermal Map Sensors will detect hot spots in your rack, as well as cold spots. Identifying cold spots means you can safely increase temperatures in the rack, saving you cooling energy costs.
