NMS Integration problems when upgrading to your SP2+ and SPX+ AKCP Remote Sensor Monitoring

Hello AKCP,

I am having problems with the integration of our current NMS (Network Management System) after upgrading from your older sensorProbe2/8 units to your sensorProbe2+ & SPX+ base units. What could be my problem and how do I fix this?

Dear AKCP Customer,

Thank you for your question on this.

The OIDs of the old sensorProbe and the new SP+ platforms are in different branch within our MIB file, sensorProbe vs plusSeries. So, you will need to access our support portal and download our latest OID manual & MIB file which contain the new SP+ OID’s under the akcp=>plusSeries branch as indicated in the OID manual.

Then, with the correct OID’s you will need to revise your NMS software with the updated OID’s in the plusSeries branch.

Please Note: You can also check all of the OID’s within the SP+ units web UI using the “Get SNMP OID” button for each sensor connected.
